Many “healthy” products sitting on the shelves of your grocery store are bogus.
Many of the marketing claims of low fat, no fat and never had never will claims are marketing ploys to get you to buy.
The American Heart Association seal of approval is for sale.
A food that is a “good source” of a specific nutrient only has to contain 10% of the recommended daily value.
Low fat meat products that claim to be “enhanced” have often been injected with a water/sodium mixture that not only adds to the weight of the product but also may contain enough extra sodium to hike your blood pressure.
